      SCRIPT  FREEBIES.

Many years ago a legendary SA Writer/Director (Barney Simon) bought me a ticket to see a stage production (which I couldn’t afford at the time). He said to me, “No actor should ever have to pay to see a production.” He’s right …Writers should get Screenplays for free!

These scripts have been sourced from various membership sites. If I get these scripts for FREE! You get them for FREE! They are to be used for Training purposes only! If you want to Write a Screenplay – you need to Read Screenplays! To dream is not enough. Learn from the best, people who already have their work out there.

Please treat these scripts with respect! Take cognisance of the writer’s names that you like so that you can catch them in other works.

  • NB!! PLEASE DO NOT COPY THE LAYOUT OF THESE SCRIPTS: Some have been Lost in translation; some are taken directly from ‘shooting scripts’, (not the same as ‘spec scripts’). DO NOT COPY THEM! IF YOUR SCRIPT IS NOT LAID OUT PROPERLY IT WILL GET TOSSED ASIDE! Work on accepted film format such as SCREENPLAY WRITING THE PICTURE by Robin U Russin and William Missouri Downs, it has a brilliant chapter on format; also see David Trottier’s MR FORMAT! Find them in the Goodies section.

  • If you are working on an industry accepted screenwriting software, such as Final Draft, Movie Magic, Script It or many others, they do the layout for you. But you really should learn layout for yourselves.

THESE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD AS YET – BUT WATCH THIS SPACE or contact the office, these are the ones I have on file to date!
